Vascular Doppler courses: online and in-person training
Instituto Fanilda Barros
Vascular Doppler, taught with a method
Structured vascular ultrasound training for physicians and imaging professionals who need clinical reasoning, diagnostic accuracy and reports that support decisions.
25+ years of vascular practice · 600+ physicians in the members area · 1,000+ physicians have attended the online events

Three tracks. Choose by where you are in your clinical practice, not by the course name.
Each program has a real prerequisite. Here you can see which stage you are at before you decide.
Track 1 · Foundation
I'm just starting out in Doppler.
You know the theory, but you get stuck on the equipment: settings, acoustic window, what to record. It's the lowest step in the catalog, and it exists precisely for this.
Tutorial Doppler Vascular is the entry course: from the equipment to the image, before any specific area.Tutorial Doppler Vascular
Track 2 · Accuracy
I already perform the exam and want a reliable report.
The exam gets done, but the doubt lingers in the report. Go deeper area by area and standardize your conclusion with guideline criteria.
Choose the area that comes up most in your routine and go deeper into it first.VenScan · ArtScan · AbdoScan · ScanUp · CarotScan
Track 3 · Specialization
I want to solve the case no one else can.
Recurrent varicose veins, pelvic venous reflux, lipedema. Poorly mapped areas, where an incomplete diagnosis explains the treatment that failed.
Here online training goes hand in hand with in-person training, because this is where a trained hand changes the outcome.Pelvic Venous Reflux · LipScan · Pelvic Connection

Beginner course
Tutorial Doppler Vascular, for those just starting out
It's the Institute's entry course. The focus is on exam technique and mastery of the essential protocols, with the scanning windows demonstrated in real time.
If you get stuck on the machine before you get stuck on the diagnosis, start here.
What's inside
- How to set up your workspace for the exam
- From basic to advanced equipment settings, to get the right image
- How to correctly code and bill Doppler exams
- How to write the report, which is your signature
- How to create exam protocols with repeatable results
- Demonstration of the exam in all arterial and venous areas, and in lipedema
The pelvis is the only area left out, and that is what the Pelvic Venous Reflux course covers.
The complete program: Doppler Vascular 360, version 2.0
Extension certificate, recognized under the educational guidelines of MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education)
The certificate is issued at the end of the course and counts as complementary hours, curriculum enrichment and professional development.
The program brings together, in a logical and progressive way, the six areas that underpin a consistent vascular diagnosis.
The six areas of the program
- CarotScan, carotid and vertebral arteries, with risk stratification
- VenScan, sources of reflux from superficial to deep, including pelvic origin
- ArtScan, lower limb arterial exam and spectral patterns
- AbdoScan, abdominal arteries and veins, with follow-up after interventions
- ScanUp, upper limbs and vascular access, including hemodialysis fistula
- Lipedema, ultrasound approach and differential diagnosis
Each one can also be purchased on its own, if you want to tackle one area first.
The areas, also sold separately
The same six courses that make up Doppler 360, sold separately for those who want to go deeper into one area at a time. Each card's color is the color of its area.

CarotScan
Carotid and vertebral arteries. From screening to unstable plaque, with Plaque-RADS and correct stenosis grading.
Also in 360

VenScan
Venous, lower limbs. From superficial to deep, from the leg to the pelvis: master the sources of reflux.
Also in 360

ArtScan
Arterial, lower limbs. From the normal waveform to silent stenosis, with accuracy in critical cases.
Also in 360

AbdoScan
Abdomen, arterial and venous. The decisive image of the abdominal arteries and veins, including post-EVAR follow-up.
Also in 360

ScanUp
Upper limbs. Arterial, venous and vascular access, including assessment before and after the hemodialysis fistula.
Also in 360

LipScan
Lipedema. From the clinical picture to the imaging criteria, with the validated measurement points.
Also in 360
Also in the catalog
Not part of Doppler 360, purchased separately.

P.D.A. Method
A teaching approach that balances theory and practice, simplification and depth, in an environment that is both welcoming and challenging.
The idea behind it is simple and long established in radiology: you only recognize what you already know. That is why the program does not start with the rare image, but with the common exam, repeated until it becomes automatic.
The content is adapted to what the class needs and reviewed with every edition.

Before you choose
I don't know which track I'm on. How do I decide?
By asking the most honest question: can you already get the exam done, or do you still get stuck on the machine? If you get stuck on the machine, it's track 1. If the exam gets done but the report raises doubts, it's track 2. If what bothers you is the difficult case, it's track 3.
Is one area or the complete program the better choice?
If you want to tackle a specific area that comes up every week, that area's course gets you there faster and costs less. Doppler Vascular 360 is worth it when the goal is to cover all of them, from zero to the report.
Do the online courses have an access period?
1 year for all online courses, counted from the date of purchase. No Institute course offers lifetime access.
Do the in-person courses replace the online ones?
No, they complement each other. In person is where you perform the exam on a real patient under supervision; online is where the theory settles in and you can review it whenever you need to.
Do you issue a certificate and an invoice?
Yes to both. The invoice is issued by Instituto Fanilda Barros LTDA.
Can I talk to someone before buying?
Yes. On WhatsApp at +55 27 99845-2026 or by email at contato@fanildabarros.com.br.
